Dr. Ted Mikroulis – Director

Dr. Ted Mikroulis D.C. is our clinic’s director and founder. Dr. Mikroulis attended his undergraduate work at Loyola University of Chicago. He received his doctorate from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He also received his Acupuncture Degree from The International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Being a standout athlete in football, basketball, and volleyball throughout his High School and College career, he was no stranger to injuries or to how the body has the capability to heal with proper care. Dr. Mikroulis had a vision to establish a clinic where a unique approach in promoting wellness and pain relief could be used. His vision became a reality in the summer of 2005 when Multicare Health Center first opened its doors. Dr. Mikroulis’ philosophy to total health and wellness include  the use of conservative and noninvasive therapies all under one roof. At Multicare Health Center, patients receive individualized care with our physicians that guide them through their carefully planned treatment program.

Dr. Ronald Losiewicz

Dr. Ronald Losiewicz has earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Movement Science from the University of Pittsburgh, his Doctorate and Post-Doctorate from the National University of Health Sciences.  He has exceptionally strong training in Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Pre and Post-surgery Physical Therapy and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.  He also treats patients for health and wellness issues such as weight loss and nutrition.  He believes the most important aspect of healthcare is educating the patient and giving them the time to fully understand and to reach their goals.  He strives to make quality contact with his patients on each visit to the office.

Dr. John Sarantopoulos

Dr. John C. Sarantopoulos, DO is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). His clinical interests include the conservative management of neck pain, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other orthopedic conditions. He provides clinical pain management services, rehabilitation medicine consultations, and electro-diagnostic evaluations for our patients. He received his medical degree
from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. After medical school, he completed a one-year rotating internship through the Chicago Osteopathic Hospitals and Medical Centers program. After his internship, he then completed a three year residency in PM&R through the prestigious University of Chicago/Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital program. He is a fellow of the American Academy of PM&R and the Illinois Society of PM&R. He is also a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electro-diagnostic Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the National Pain Foundation.  He has been practicing medicine since 1998.

Dr. Christopher Tsakalakis

Dr. Chris Tsakalakis is a chiropractic physician who attended his undergraduate studies at St. Xavier University where he received a B.S. degree in Biology.  He later studied Chiropractic at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.  In August of 2002, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree and Certificate in Acupuncture.  Dr. Chris has great compassion for his patients and believes in getting them out of pain quickly with minimal visits and affordable care.  He considers every patient a part of his family and believes strongly in being a teacher, working to educate his patients to ensure everything is understood properly. It is for this dedication and care that Dr. Chris has been awarded “Top America’s Chiropractors for the years 2009 and 2010 by Consumers’ Research Council of America.

Dr. Anthony Sikora

Dr. Anthony Sikora has been a chiropractic physician for over 10 years.  He is a dedicated, evidence-based, and resourceful healthcare professional focused on clinical accidents.  Dr. Sikora holds a Doctorate from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, and a Masters of Sciences in Nursing from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. His approach to the muscle and joint pain incorporates the detailed assessment of the patient’s physical and environmental needs, followed by joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise, and anti-inflammatory and additional counseling.  In addition to working as a clinician, Dr. Sikora is also an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, where he teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Biology of Human Reproduction.  Dr. Sikora believes that a good doctor start with listening toward the patient’s need and then working together to meet their goals.
