Dr. John Sarantopoulos

Dr. John C. Sarantopoulos, DO is a board certified specialist
in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). His clinical
interests include the conservative management of neck pain,
low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other orthopedic
conditions. He provides clinical pain management services,
rehabilitation medicine consultations, and electro-diagnostic
evaluations for our patients. He received his medical degree
from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in
Athens, Ohio. After medical school, he completed a one-year
rotating internship through the Chicago Osteopathic Hospitals
and Medical Centers program. After his internship, he then
completed a three-year residency in PM&R through the prestigious
University of Chicago/Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital program.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of PM&R and the Illinois
Society of PM&R. He is also a member of the American Association
of Neuromuscular and Electro-diagnostic Medicine, the American
Academy of Pain Medicine, and the National Pain Foundation.
He has been practicing medicine since 1998.
